Ca’ la Ghironda si presenta come una splendida struttura con parco immersa fra le colline a pochi minuti dal centro storico di Bologna. Essa si colloca tra le iniziative private che affiancano e collaborano con quelle istituzionali culturali ed amministrative, arricchendo l’offerta ed aggiungendo vivacità al dibattito sull’arte e la cultura.
Il parco, che comprende una “Petite” e “Grande Promenade”, si distende in una vasta area verde di 10 ettari. Più di 150 sono le differenti specie di piante locali o naturalizzate che fanno da cornice alle sculture e 15.000 sono quelle presenti nell’intera area, in una armoniosa rappresentazione di equilibrio '...fra arte e natura.
Anche la fauna autoctona, incontrastata, ha trovato rifugio e nidificato fra i cespugli e i rami degli alberi. Così può capitare durante il percorso “en plein eir” di incontare fagiani, lepri o scoiattoli ai quali viene garantita la sopravvivenza dalle bacche, dai funghi spontanei e dai frutti degli alberi (ciliegie, amarena, pesche, mele, pere, kiwi e uva) appositamente coltivati ma non defraudati dall’uomo.

Ogni porzione di spazio boschivo-agricolo è stato dunque concepito e usato come parte integrante dei volumi di ogni scultura presente con l’intento di dare vita a una dimensione di equilibri fra uomo, arte e natura, attenendosi a una visione di semplicità e umanità. A una visione felice! Senza mai trascurare la memoria del genius loci, né i gesti abitudinari ma solenni degli artisti nel pieno rispetto dei loro punti più elevati di poetica.

More than 150 they are the different species of local plants or naturalizzate that they make from frame the sculptures and 15,000 they are those present ones in the entire area, in one harmonious rappresentazione of equilibrium '… between art and nature. Also the native fauna, incontrastata, have found shelter and nested between the bushes and coppers of the trees. Therefore it can capitare during the distance “en plein eir” of incontare pheasants, lepri or scoiattoli to which come guaranteed the survival from the berries, the spontaneous fungi and the fruits of the trees (cherries, amarena, peaches, apples, pears, kiwi and grape) purposely cultivate to you but it does not defraud to you from the man. Every portion of boschivo-agricultural space has been therefore conceived and used like integrating part of the volumes of every present sculpture with the attempt of giving to life to one dimension of equilibriums between man, art and nature, adhering itself to one vision of semplicità and humanity. To one happy vision! Without never to neglect the memory of the genius loci, neither the habitual but solemn gestures of the artists in the full respect of their points more elevate you than poetica.
